John Boyne     John Boyne was born in Dublin and still lives there. He is the author of eleven novels for adults and six novels for the young children.   All his novels are published in 50 languages.   His best novel “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2006) was made into a film in the same name.   In 2015 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of letters from the University of East Anglia.
