A short summary of Julius Caesar There lived In Rome a great soldier and leader Julius Caesar. He was famous all over Europe. He was admired by his people as a national hero. Caesar’s friends and companions were afraid of his increasing greediness. They suspected that he wished to become king of the Roman people in order to gain absolute power in affairs of state. Brutus a close friend of Caesar had high and noble morals and a very genuine desire to do what was best for Rome. At the same time, Caesar showed signs of greediness and ambition. Brutus was greatly troubled. Cassius was member of the Roman party was jealous of Caesar had been influenced by his friends to persuade Brutus to join them and become their leader. So Cassius poisoned Brutus mind against Caesar. It was decided that Caesar should die and they made a perfect plan and invited him to the capitol.
