Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling

The summary of the Adoption of Mowgli in Jungle Book.

one evening at Seonne hill the mother wolf and father wolf with their cubs had a lazy and happy conversation with their friend Tabqui.  Tabqui informs about the most villainous tiger Sherekhan. while they were busy with the conversation mother wolf noticed the movement of something behind the bush where they were lying.

motherwolf hurried towards it and was astonished to see a naked baby crawled towards her with innocent smile. they could not find out from where did the baby come from.   Mother wolf could not take  away  her eyes from the beautiful naked baby who is without fur. She was so much attracted to the baby with motherly love and wanted to take the baby into her arms. she named the baby with love as  Mowgli the frog as the baby had no hair.

At that moment sherekhan the large tiger appeared suddenly with rage and demanded the baby as he was the first to find out the lonely baby in the jungle.  sherekhan has been hunting the baby but mother wolf sprang towards sherekhan and shouted at him to get away form them. sherekhan pointed out the laws of the jungle as it said that no human can live with animals in the jungle without the consent of all the inhabitants of the jungle.  It was agreed by the father wolf and Tabqui and they agreed to held a meeting to decide the adoption according to the laws of the jungle

The mother wolf and the father wolf brought Mowgli to the Seeonee Wolf Pack that evening so the other wolves could identify him as a part of their wolf pack and not to harm him in future.  At the Council Rock Shere khan the big tiger tried to confuse and convince the Free people (the wolves) not to accept the cub but the Akela the old pack leader asked if there were anyone who would speak on behalf of the baby boy.  Baloo the Big bear came forward to teach and train Mowgli and Bagheera the black panther too decided to offer a bull in exchange for Mowgli to accept him into the wolf pack. Thus Mowgli was adopted into Seeonee wolf pack overcoming all the demands of the jungle.

KAA'S HUNTING

The summary of Kaa's Hunting

Now  Mowgli is seven years old is forced to leave the wolf pack to learn all the laws of the jungle from Baloo  the big bear and Bagheera the black panther.  They taught him all the master words  in all animals' language and the strangers' Hunting call which allows a stranger to hunt food in another animal's territory when the stranger is hungry and must hunt there.

there were so much to learn Mowgli as a small naughty kid could not focuss.  One day Baoo cuffs Mowgli for not listening and he ran away  in anger.  Bagheera warned Baloo for hurting him but Baloo said that he wanted Mowgli to learn the Master words properly so as to survive.  Mowgli who was hiding behind them came out and recited all the master words with perfection.  Mowgli told Baloo and Bagheera that he would have his own tribe one day, he would hide in the tops of the tree and things at Baloo as he was angry. The strange behaviour made Baloo and Bagheera to realized that Mowgli was mingling with the Bandar-log the Monkey People who lived without any laws. they were lawless, dangerous and disrespectful and Baloo warned Mowgli to avoid them.

Mowgli agreed to listen to Baloo and promised not to go after the Monkey people.  Knowing this  the Monk People kidnapped Mowgli.  As he hurled through the jungle tree tops he used the Master Words to the Kite to tell Baloo and Bagheera his location.  Baloo was so upset and guilty that he was rude and strict and didnt warn him about the dangers of the Monkey People. He remembered Hathi the Elephant's advice about weakness of fear. so they went to Kaa the rock Python who was 30 feet long. They knew Kaa was the only creature the Bandar-Log fear. Kaa agreed as it was hungry.

when they arrived at the Cold Lairs an ancient human city now in ruins. They saw hundreds of Monkey People crowding around Mowgli trying to convince him to respect them. Kaa and Bagheera formed a plan. Kaa moved towards the rocks and Bagheera attacked.  The Monkey  People threw Mowgli into a pit of cobras, but Mowgli used the Master Words so the cobras didn't attack him.  The Monkey People attacked Bagheera but he escaped by crossing water the Monkey People cannot cross. Baloo fought with all the monkey, Kaa rushed down to help, terrifying the Monkey People who ran to hide.  Kaa did not stop with that, Kaa broke the snake pit wal, releasing Mowgli.  Mowgli ran to Baloo and Bagheera hugging them and apologizing for causing them so much pain and trouble.  Mowgli promised Kaa that he would give him goats in the future for saving his life. Kaa danced in hunger to hypnotize the monkeys, so he could eat them.  Even Baloo and Baheera were hypnotized but Mowgli shook them by the shoulders to snap them of their trances.  Mowgli was the only one immune to the dance of Kaa. He went happily with his teachers so as to escape from Kaa.
